This is a video taken by a tourist who opened a YouTube account just to post this. I wonder when the oil will make it south to the Tampa Bay Clearwater Beach area? Our economy is dependent on tourism which would disappear if that were to happen.

It has speculated that Popes through the last century were hesitant to release the Third Prophecy of Fatima because of the horrific nature of it that may suggest the Catholic Church leading man to the devil. I have read the entire transcript and have a different take on it.
The first two Fatima Prophecies were revealed by the Blessed Mother in 1917 to three young school Children. The first two prophecies told of the end of WWI and a great light in the sky over Europe.
Both events seemed to have occurred within the time frame of the prophecy as told. What about the third prophecy and why the Blessed Mother to reveal these things to school children in a very poor country?
Theologians believe that the Blessed Mary returns at times of great trouble and strife to warn mankind of impending events. Children have innocent minds and may be more trusting of an appearance.
This is the Third Fatima Prophecy:
"After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: 'Penance, Penance, Penance!'.And we saw in an immense light that is God: 'something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it' a Bishop dressed in White 'we had the impression that it was the Holy Father'. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God."
I would put this in the category of End Time Prophecy even though no Catholic is obligated to except or believe any of this. The church has rejected more ancient books than it has excepted, and only believe the ones that are the most credible. Then why has this prophecy in Portugal been so important to the Catholic Church? Could have deep political meaning?
This 'revealed prophecy' was very important to the Catholic Church. It had everything to do with Islam. That's right. Even in 1917 the Church could see the danger of this movement.
The link above details a great conspiracy of how the Catholic Church created Islam in the seventh century hoping their fanatical zeal would one day rid the holy land of the Jews. If true, the plan backfired.
I don't really believe in all that sinister stuff. I think the third Prophecy of Fatima was an allegory. End-Time Prophecy has always been viewed as a metaphor of the consequences of man aligning himself with the forces of evil. There really is no literal way to take this.

I watched the Monsterquest episodes when they put the Patterson film to computer analysis in an attempt to prove it, or debunk it. They had some athlete guy try to mimic the motions of the sasquatch on the film. They claimed he could not do it. That seems kind of strange. Is not walking, just walking? This image of how easy that would have been came from a six year old book!
I have only been around the bigfoot world for a little over a year. What I have found out is there is no governing body. Unlike the UFO people with MUFON, that train researchers to do investigations, nothing like this exist in the bigfoot community, and that I believe is at the heart of the problem, and leads to the perpetuation of the bigbfoot folklore and not the advancement of science.
There are only factions that are trying to put their work out as the purist, or most scientific all the while not really finding much evidence. And they seem to be very jealous of all others. The biggest group is a very closed society called BFRO. They do not except members, and do everything in secret yet wanting people for some reason to think they are best at this.
Considering how long they have been around, why did it take an independent researcher to uncover some interesting stuff. Greg Long, in his book - The Making Of Bigfoot - The Inside Stroy analysis the whole episode leading up to the Patterson/Gimlin film. The work is very extensive and complex. It puts together a story of lies and deceit and an attempt by a shady dude (patterson) to get a big payday. What I find interesting is the Patterson film itself.
Supporters of the film say that no human could reproduce the gait of the animal. Is that so? Bob Heironimus (shown in the photo above) claims he was the one wearing the suit that day Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlim faked the film. This photo shows that when put to scale, the creature was a little over six feet and the same height as Heirominus. Very strange that BFRO does not have this on their website.

I was hiking on a wild trail near an old phosphate pit in Central Florida. I was out looking for the Florida Skunkape or bigfoot and my camera captured this image on a high ridge. It was kind of spooky to me, and that is why I am including it in this blog. I often hear of the shadow people on Coast To Coast AM but never thought I would see something like this.
Our planet Earth has extinguished large portions of its inhabitants several times since the dawn of animals. And if science tells us anyt...
